Band 5 Paediatric Nurse

Location: City of Westminster, Greater London
Salary/Rate: £35,102/annum

A leading, luxury private hospital in central London requires a Band 5 Registered Children’s Nurse to join their busy Paediatrics team across the Hospital including Outpatients and the Urgent Care Centre.

You will be working in a fast-paced, innovative environment at Band 5 level. Seeing a wide variety of patients, from those with primary care issues in our Urgent Care Centre, you will have a fantastic opportunity to expand your skills and be part of an evolving and developing service.

Role Responsibilities:

• Providing high quality nursing care and supporting team members to maintain best practice to all patients and visitors whilst following hospital and departmental policies
• Delvering excellent patient care across a diverse base of specialties as part of a small, welcoming and flexible team
• Responsible for the safety of self, colleagues, patients and visitors in the Emergency Department

Qualifications:

• Current NMC Children’s nursing registration
• Minimum of 3 years post-registration in working within Paediatrics in an acute hospital setting; Outpatients, Children’s Emergency or Urgent Care
• Significant post registration skills

• Excellent communicator
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Confident decision maker
